Ghosted for trying to buy a car at car dealership

A few years ago, I tried buying a car. I went to a couple recommended car dealers in the area.

I found one with the car I wanted at a good price. I did a test drive and was ready to pay right away.

The person from the dealership told me they would get the car ready for me in a couple of days, the paperwork etc.

I was waiting for them to tell me how to pay for the car, but they never send me the message they promised they would after ~3 days. A week passed, I tried to call them, send sms, whatsapp messages, nothing.

They totally ghosted me for over 2 weeks. Eventually, I went to another car dealer and bought another car within days.

Over a month had passed when I received a message from the initial car dealer saying the car had an oil leak and was not in conditions to be sold. Man, they could have told me that the first day wtf. They literally lost a client because of their negligence. Moreover, they didn’t try to sell me another car, or give me options, nothing, terrible sales skills. Just a plain “it’s not for sale“.
