Cannot change Lisbon hotel booking staff says "I don't know I am new here"

We book beautiful Lisbon hotel two days ago directly on their website, cause we come back in 2 weeks, and need a hotel for a bit, it's top hotel, very good ratings etc.

We made a mistake and book wrong dates, we try edit the booking on their website, but we can't, so we email them can you change it

Nobody replies

We call them sunday next day, a girl picks up, she say she can't change the booking, she need to ask the director of the hotel to change it, and it is sunday so he comes back monday, so she will ask him then and email us back

Next day monday, nobody replies

We call them, a guy picks up, he says he can't help us because he's new in the hotel, we ask can we speak to colleague, supervisor, or someone else to change the booking, he say no cannot, we ask so how are we supposed to change the booking, he say you should email us

I say we already emailed you for 2 days but you never reply, he finds the emails we sent and says yes we will reply, we ask when will you reply, he says he doesn't know, but "shortly"

I say how will you reply shortly, when you didn't reply for 2 days, even when we confirmed you got the email, he says I don't know I am new here
