Ghosted by accountant

I’ve been personally ghosted by an accountant when I tried to get my documents so I can move to another accountant due to terrible service. Never recovered the documents with an email from the accountant saying “Remember, you are the one legally required to have these documents”.

It’s not uncommon to be ghosted by accountants, lawyers, etc, even if they took your money, and in the middle of any process. If something goes wrong, instead of owning up to it, it’s common to ghost.
