Government Functions use Antiquated Tools

Most of the public services (e.g. IMT, AIMA and so on) are extremely overloaded and the queues are enormous. There are many reasons for this but I think one of them is that they do a lot of work via e-mail or physical-mail and it just makes things 100x worse.

When websites do include an element of functionality, it often ends in a email, mail or phone call…or the website is terribly constructed and doesn’t really add much value.

Some basic software portals (like say the IRS has implemented) could really help things to run more smoothly.
