I buy everything online — from Germany or Spain

Tonight I tried to buy medical products online.

Every Portuguese store had an insane signup process that demanded ridiculous details and had broken pages. Every checkout experience was ancient, custom built, semi-broken and horrible to use.

The first German store that I found simply had a ‘PayPal’ button. I logged in, all my details were instantly loaded and I placed the order in seconds.

The last time I purchased an electrical item in a Portuguese store we were sold an old Nutribullet model that’s no longer made. We couldn’t buy any spare parts and had to throw it away when our jug broke.

Now we purchase EVERYTHING on Amazon Spain or Germany.

We get better products, better customer service, better prices and often faster delivery (at least from Spain) than in Portugal.

Buying locally is usually the worst possible option.
