I try to book horse riding for Valentine's Day, Portuguese horse guy starts shit with me

For Valentine’s Day I wanted to book a horse riding with my gf

A normal request anywhere in the world, but not in Portugal 😂

After asking he explains where his farm is but also tells me his horses are not safe to ride if we are beginners:

I reconsider and think we might have to first try another horse riding school to actually do a beginner’s lesson cause you don’t wanna take a risk with pro horses.

So I found another horse school in the area which was very friendly Germans who essentially said the same (the horses are pro, not for beginner) but she was very sweet and recommended other another horse company for beginners.

I called them they were British and they were also super friendly so I booked with them.

Then I had to say no to the Portuguese horse guy who then got angry thinking I was sarcastic 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣

The guy gets angry with me for being sarcastic with him. When I’m not sarcastic, I was being friendly 😂

The culture clash between Portuguese over the age of 50 and the ENTIRE rest of the world is so gigantic!
