Lisbon subway is... too... slow....

Not when you are already into a car. But the frequency between trains is really too big for a bunch of routes. Specially at night and weekends.

I once went to a bar in Intendente and going back home around Praça de Espanha took more than half-hour for a really short ride:

8 minutes waiting the subway at green line, 4 minutes inside the said train.

Change lines at Alameda and wait again: 10 minutes waiting and a 3 minutes ride.

Change once again at Saldanha: 7 minutes waiting and ONE minute ride.

I gave up on public transit most of the time because many times it takes the same time to go walking. But sometimes you are really tired or need to bring something heavy…
