Ordered coffee beans from Lisbon cafe with online shop, nothing ever arrived

So my friend recommended a Lisbon cafe with a nice online store to buy fresh coffee beans. Because I have a coffee grinder now.

I ordered 250g of Brazil beans from their Shopify looking store. I pay. It’s 12 euros and I pay 7 euros to ship it. Not cheap cause we live like half hour from Lisbon so should be cheaper but all good. I wanted beans!

I wait for weeks and nothing ever arrives.

I email them, and they say “We're currently out of stock”.

Ok great but if you’re out of stock, any normal business would:

1) set it in your website as out of stock so people can’t order it

2) immediately email the person after ordering that it’s out of stock

You don’t just wait for weeks until the customer asks where their order is.

Service here is just bottom of barrel 😂😂😂
