Portuguese bureaucracy suffocates business and growth

Honestly, the bureaucracy in Portugal is killing businesses.

I’ve worked in the offshore industry for years, in different parts of Europe, and we’ve never seen anything as complicated and slow as what we’re dealing with in Portugal. Just trying to get basic things done, like getting maritime certificates and licenses from DGRM, registering a temp agency, or setting up mandatory accident insurance turns into a nightmare of paperwork, delays, and unclear procedures.

We want to invest in Portuguese people, we want to create good jobs and pay fair wages. But instead of support, we keep running into problems and red tape from the government.
This is honestly concerning and impairing Portugal growth and Portuguese people lives!
Just get out of the way and let us work!! Offer solutions instead of issues!!
