Buy and schedule Miele washing machine and dryer delivery with mechanic, it gets delivered and the mechanic is missing

We order Miele washing machine and dryer with Miele Portugal many weeks ago. It also includes mechanic who connects everything to the pipes and makes it work

We schedule delivery for specifically tomorrow’s date. We arrange with the previous owners of the house (who are still in the house because they haven’t moved out and we haven’t moved in yet). They will stay home to receive the Miele washing machine.

Excellent.

Today the previous house owners call us a washing machine and dryer is delivered.

But there’s nobody to install it. We ask the delivery guy if he can install it? He answers of course not, I’m a delivery guy not a mechanic. We ask where the mechanic is? The delivery guy on phone has no idea. There is no mechanic.

We call Miele Portugal, they say "oops we should have delivered tomorrow, because the mechanic will come tomorrow".

Luckily the previous house owners were still there or it would literally be standing outside in the rain for 24 hours 😂😂😂
