I’ve registered my car in the Via Verde website to get the device for automatic payment when passing the toll. But I put the car plate number wrong. Since there is no option for editing the plate number after you submitted the request, I’ve called their call center.
Then the woman said they would cancel it, but I would have to request on the same date, otherwise I would have to wait for 40 days to request again. So after she cancelled, right after the call, I tried to order and yeah, it did’t work. After many tries I gave up, called them in the other day and I had to wait for long 40 days to request it again. Again, why 40 days? Wtf.
Then ok, I waited. After that period the site still had an error not allowing me to proceed. So they suggested me to go to CTT and order there directly.
So I went to CTT. There we guy said the OLD car owner still has an active subscription to my car. F***! Instead of CTT support center tell me this, the guy on CTT said, so apparently he has more information and knowledge than people working INSIDE Via Verde.
So I called the old owner and he cancelled his subscription. So I went back to CTT and ….. after doing my ViaVerde contract, that now apparently was working since we passed the stage I had problems because of the previous car owner didn’t finished his ViaVerde subscription attached to the car, the SYSTEM HAD INSTABILITY. YES. Once more I could not get out with my f** ViaVerde device.
Arriving at home almost giving up on it, tried once more using the site and it worked. And they delivered at my house.
So in fact, in the first call to the ViaVerde call center, the support person could just have just said that the car already had an active subscription to the old owner, and I would tell him this, he would cancel, I would request again and it would work.
But the combo ViaVerde + CTT resolution just took me months to solve!
